Yana Karol holds a PhD in Physics, a BA in Art History, and an MBA. Her early research focused on atmospheric and space sciences before she moved into the innovation sector, advising New Space and deep-tech startups.
Alongside her scientific and entrepreneurial path, she cultivated a long-standing engagement with the arts studying painting, opening a gallery, and later completing formal studies in art history.
Today, she brings these trajectories together exploring how art and science shape our collective imagination of the cosmos. She also continues her creative practice in ceramics in Vallauris, a town historically associated with Picasso and post-war modernism.
